This is a high clearance DIY weld-together bumper kit for the 13th Gen (2015-2017) Ford F150. It features a low profile design, fully bolt-on construction, protected winch mount and the best approach angle on the market. The high clearance design makes your F150 look more aggressive by showing off your front suspension and tires. In addition, this bumper frees up a ton of space in your front wheel wells and allows you to easily run 35" tires without any bumper interference. This bumper allows you to forget about approach angle and substantially improves the offroad capability of your F150. It offers excellent protection from rocks, trees and animal strikes and has been kept to a very reasonable weight of 115lbs (or 57lbs in aluminum) through careful design work. This low weight is especially noteworthy when you consider the weight lost from removing your factory bumper and town hooks - the actual weight difference is minimal and will not have any noticeable affects on your suspension. Build your F150 the right way with true offroad bumpers that maximize its offroad clearance and performance!
This bumper uses a total of 12 factory mounting points to solidly mount it to the frame and is available with an optional integrated skid plate for even more protection and strength. The mounting system distributes impact and winching forces evenly across your frame and makes for the stiffest mounting interface of any bumper on the market. This bumper also uses a low profile design that tucks tightly to the body and slopes up directly from the end of the frame. This results in maximum ground clearance and approach angles that will let you take lines on the trail that weren't previously possible.
The optional lower skid plate protects your vulnerable radiator, front differential and other lower engine bay parts and provides even more additional ground clearance compared to the flimsy stock skid plate. This skid plate also has side "wings" that sit in front of the notoriously exposed and low-hanging front suspension mounts. This will help prevent bent suspension mounts that can throw off your alignment and result in expensive repair bills. As can be seen in the pictures, this skid plate tucks extremely tight to the front end of the vehicle and gives a shocking amount of extra ground clearance where it counts most! Simply put, you will be able to take lines on the trail that previously were not possible with your stock bumper and skid plates. To finish it off, this skid plate has CNC cut outs that improve airflow to the radiator as well as raised sides that stiffen the skid plate and prevent debris from entering the engine bay from the sides.
In addition to the winch mount that accepts all standard 8-12,000lb winches, this bumper comes with 2 locations to mount 3x3" surface mount LED pod lights. These lighting mounts come with slotted mounting tabs that give a ton of adjustability to fit a wide range of different lights.
